Hsin-Mei Chuang Messmer, M.A.
For more than fifteen years, I have been working as a cultural mediator, translator and author. I grew up in Taiwan and studied later at the Columbia University, the University of Fribourg and holds an M.A. in Journalism and Communication from the University of Wisconsin--Madison. As an interpreter, I work, among others, for the Police Department, the Office for Migration and Integration of the Canton of Aargau and am officially accredited by the Zurich Higher Court.
Among other things, I have worked on projects for universities such as the ETH Zurich or the ZHdK, as well as cultural institutions such as the Basel Museum of Cultures and swissnex (Shanghai branch). In the private sector, I enjoy working with SMEs. Before I started my own business, I worked for the international renowned advertising agency Ogilvy in Taipei.
I lived in the metropolis of Shanghai for almost ten years. Today I live with my husband in Switzerland.
My way of working is professional, personal and uncomplicated. Confidentiality is my priority.
